Why volunteer for a green project in Bristol?

We love Bristol's green status and we want it to stay, so it's down to us to keep our city blossoming, bussing and blooming. Getting involved doesn't have to be back breaking- We've discovered a huge variety of fun events, creative activities and skills workshops that you can get jump right into. Bristol proudly boasts some of the greenest organisations in the country and there's a green project to suit everyone!

Get your hands dirty and become a pioneer for organic food and sustainable agriculture projects with the Soil Association or why not explore the many paths of the city with Sustrans, the sustainable transport charity who built the National Cycle Network. Go alfresco in one of Bristol's 99 certified parks, there's bound to be an event, project or group in your local area.

Green Volunteers Bristol is delving deep into the city to find the smaller community projects, whilst engaging volunteers with the high profile organisations which you may be familiar with. We've searched high and low for Bristol's undiscovered volunteering opportunities, and now you can find them all in one place.... Right here! With the newly designed website devoted to making Green Volunteering in Bristol the easiest it's ever been, getting involved in your ideal project should be a walk in the park!
